Trend Alert!

How to wear primary colors

Happy 2018 babies. Who's ready for some new sh*t?! I love a new year like I love Mondays (no, seriously.) Call me an optimist, but I love the idea of a fresh page to make my mark on. For me 2018 is going to be all about work, especially this blog, and creatively pushing myself. That means trying new things - and I'm in the process of relaunching this site with a totally new look, feel, and lots of new content.

As for today, let's talk about a new combo of colors I've been loving and seeing making a huge comeback: primary colors.

While I love basics, if you want to step up your style game right now, let me suggest primary colors. The usual McDonald's classic color combo is popping up everywhere in high fashion as well as street style, and I couldn't be more into it. A color lover forever, there's something so fresh and playful about wearing your ROYGBIV loud and proud. In this post I've opted for a 70's take with double statement sleeves and a red pantsuit from Bebe. (Wearing the Roman jacket and Kayla pants in red)

What do you think of the look and primary colors trend? I had a lot of fun shooting this look with Stefanie Marie.

Expect to see more editorial style images like these for 2018! I can't wait to share more with you.

xx,

Genevieve
