Today's blog is featuring one of my favorite trends right now: the straw bag! I've rounded up so many of them for EVERY budget, plus showing you an idea of how you can style a straw tote.

Straw totes go with LITERALLY anything in the Spring, but an oversized straw tote is especially fresh with a little white dress and some espadrilles. There's just something about Spring and Summer than makes me want to pull all the feminine pieces in my closet out and suddenly dress like a v proper lady.

Today we're talking my favorite way to dress for spring: two-piece matching sets. There's a few reasons two-piece sets are great. One is that it can look almost like a dress or pantsuit, but with more versatility. Take the top and pair it with jeans instead of the matching pants and voila bing bang! You have a different outfit. Vice -versa, you can mix and match the bottoms also for endless outfit options. Another reason I love them is because they make it so easy to get dressed. It makes you appear pulled together in a minute FLAT. You can change your shoes and accessories for a night out or a day by the pool. What's not to love about looking good with minimal effort? I'm here for it. 

Spring ready: Two Piece Sets 

In this blog today I'm wearing one from Wayf via Nordstrom that is so cute for almost any occasion I can think of. It's pulled together and super flattering with the corset lace up detailing on the back. Catch me by the pool sipping margaritas all Spring long in this cute little striped number.

They're everywhere. You can't turn a street corner without seeing one. No, I'm not talking about Bird scooters, I'm talking about the one thing that's a huge wardrobe staple right now: the plaid blazer. Honestly way before this trend came about I've always been a big plaid / checkered/ houndstooth kind of girl. Every Fall and Winter you can catch me sporting at least one of the three patterns in some way. I've had a red plaid trench coat that I wear ceremoniously almost every Christmas that I'll never get rid of.

This year though, it's all about the checkered blazer. Oversized, cropped, or belted, this is one wardrobe piece that can be worn so many ways. The one I'm wearing in this blog in particular is a vintage men's suit jacket from Burberry circa 1980 or so. I found it in the depths of my closet and it was about to go to Goodwill before I saved it and decided it was my new favorite piece of clothing. Here I've belted it with my Gucci leather belt , a peach wool beret, a classic pair of black heels (they're called Rendezvous from Tamara Mellon, and no pants. (JK! There's denim shorts under there)
